19 Things I Have Learned in 19 Years

Hey guys, happy Wednesday! The post this week is coming a little later, since my birthday was on Monday! I had a great quarantined birthday, I spent time with my family and my boyfriend Levi. Despite only turning nineteen (I know I’m a baby haha), I feel as though I have learned a lot in the 19 years that I have been on this earth!

1. No Expectations

-This obviously does not apply to all things in life, but I found myself having expectations for others and when they did not meet them I would be devastated. The funny part is though, the majority of those people didn’t even know I had expectations for them. Therefore, I think it is wise to just go with the flow and not set expectations.

2. Learned How To Read a Finance Report

-Believe it or not, I have actually never been taught this before. So upon wanting to get into investing, I learned how to read finance reports. This is a very valuable and crucial skill.

3. Take Care of Your Health and Body

-Like most people I have had ups and downs in my health journey. It wasn’t until I started fueling/moving my body out of love that I really started to get comfy in my own skin.

4. There is so Much Power in Positivity

-Positive thoughts will change your life.

5. Let Go of the Outcome

-I have learned this valuable lesson on my path of manifestation. You truly have to let go of the outcomes of things, and have faith that everything is going to be alright. 🙂

6. Drink Water

-Drinking water is soooo important. After realizing that my skin cleared, I lost weight, and my bloating calmed down.

7. Spend Time With Loved Ones

-This one is pretty self-explanatory, but go spend time with your loved ones. You won’t regret it.

8. Learn Things For Yourself

-This is a big thing I’ve learned in recent years. Don’t just depend on the news, word of mouth, and school to learn things. Start researching/reading and learn things for yourself. You may be surprised what you might find.

9. Forgive

-In high school, it felt like I had so many enemies, but after I graduated that all went away. Forgive, because most of the time what you are upset about won’t matter in a year.

10. Move Yo Body

-Moving your body is another important one. Once I learned to move my body out of love it practically changed my entire life.

11. Figure Out What You Want and Go For It

-Set your goals high, figure out how to get there, and go for it!

12. Challenge Your Comfort Zone

-Nothing good comes from a comfort zone. It’s all about learning, growing and blooming into the person you were designed to become.

13. Meditation and Visualization Work Wonders

-I highly recommend looking into this yourself, but mediation and visualization truly work wonders. It helps to attract the things you want in life.

14. Start Out at A Community College

-Haha this is all my own personal opinion, but I absolutely love that I started out at a community college. I saved so much money, got a good education, and got to spend another year close to home. (Again just my own personal experience & opinion).

15. Hydroflasks Take The Cake For Best Reusable Water Bottle

-I have been a huge reusable water bottle fanatic for several years now. I am not sure why, but I just love them. This year I received a hydroflask, and you guys….it lives up to the hype.

16. Spread Love Wherever You Go

-“Whenever you share love with others, you’ll notice the peace that comes to you and to them.” -Mother Teresa

17. Be Kind To The Earth

-It is the only one we have.

18. Dogs Will Forever Be a Mans Best Friend

-I think my dogs are the only reason I am not going crazy during this quarantine!

19. Life is Short

-Life is short. Go after your dreams, go out, meet people, explore the world, spread love, find yourself, cherish family, and most importantly…..have fun.

Hope you guys enjoyed! What are some valuable things that you have learned? 🙂

Thanks for reading.

Love,

Kate
