How To Feel Your Best

When I was a sophomore in high school I started to get super into self-improvement and how to feel my best. Since then I feel like I have learned quite a bit about what makes me feel good. I hope you guys enjoy these tips and I promise that doing these things will have you on your way to feeling your best before you even know it.

Get Outside

This one sounds simple, but is so important. Getting outside and soaking up some sun can drastically improve your mood. Vitamin D has so many amazing benefits. Some of which include; help maintain the health of bones and teeth, support the health of the immune system, brain, and nervous system, regulate insulin levels and aid diabetes management, and support lung function and cardiovascular health.

I am not saying you have to sun bathe like Alison and I like to do, but getting out in the sun for a little bit each day can do amazing things for you.

Spend Time With Loved Ones

When I was younger I took for granted time with family and friends. As I have gotten older I have realized how precious that time truly is. Go on that trip with your friends, go out to eat with them, spend as much time as you can with them, because one day you may not have the opportunity to do so. The same things apply to spending time with family. Family is so important, I could not imagine living life without them.

Do Things You Enjoy

Doing things you enjoy is so important. Do something that you love each and every day. Better yet make that thing you love your job. About the same time I started reading self-help books I came to the realization that I don’t want to live the average life that society tells us to live.

I want to live my life by my own design. That goal is something that I work towards each and everyday and I love it. So guys seriously, you only live one life. Do you want that life to just be mediocre? Or do you want to start living your dream life?

Since I know that living your dream life takes a lot of hard work, here are a few things you can do until you can achieve that dream life.

During school and my work week I love to schedule events that I look forward to. Whether that may be hanging out with friends/loved ones, going out to eat, going to a concert, going out, binge-watching Netflix, ect. Just whatever makes you excited to wake up in the morning, do that!! 🙂


Get Your Body MOVING! This is so important and crucial to living a happy and healthy life. Release some of those feel good endorphins. Move your body while you still have it. Our bodies can do amazing things, don’t let that gift go to waste. Even if it is just as simple as going for a 30min walk everyday. Get your body moving. I promise you will feel so much better!! I challenge all of you to move your body for at least 30 minutes a day.

Fuel Your Body With Good Stuff

What you put in you get out. So if you are fueling your body with crap you are going to feel like crap. I am also going to start this out by saying get rid of your morning coffee/caffeine. It sucks for a while but I promise you will feel so much better!!I started drinking the fizz drinks by Arbonne in the morning and I feel 100x better. Also, eat healthy even if that just means getting enough fruit and veggies in everyday. I promise that you will feel better, your skin will look better, and you will start seeing your body doing amazing things!

One of the best things I ever did for myself was the 30 Days To Healthy Living Challenge by Arbonne. I have tried the Whole 30, eating keto, being vegan, and basically everything under the sun. And I kid you not this challenge is the best one I have ever done. It made me lose fat, it cleared my skin, and I feel amazing. It taught me how to live a healthy and balance lifestyle without cutting calories/cutting things completely out of my diet. Like seriously guys check it out!!

Here are just a few of the benefits of drinking one of these bad boys!! So yummy!!

Make Time For Yourself

The last tip but certainly not least is making time for yourself. Go read a book, meditate, do your self-care routine, just do things that make you feel great.

Every night before bed I always read my bible and recite my affirmations. Affirmations are so great and have improved my confidence greatly. If you don’t have a list of them I highly recommend making one right now. I have my list of affirmations taped right beside my door, so everytime I leave my room I see them.

Just remember you guys are all loved and only you can make yourself feel better. So get up get moving and start doing things that are gonna make you healthier and happier. I promise you won’t regret it.
