How To Make Delicious Protein Waffles

Hi! We are officially 8 days out from Christmas. Holy cow. I feel like it has creeped up slowly, but at the same time I feel like I blinked and now its here. Anyways, since the holidays are upon us you best believe that I am enjoying ALL the yummy food, but in between those special days I try to stick to my healthy eating as best I can. However, healthy eating most definitely does not have to be boring. One of the things I have been loving lately are these yummy protein waffles! They are packed with lots of protein and will make your mouth water at the sight of them! I hope you enjoy this post, and definitely let me know if you try these protein waffles out!

Directions

Before I begin with directions I just thought I would let you know that this recipe is just for a single serving of protein waffles! If you would like to make several of them just double the recipe as needed. 🙂

First you want to get a bowl. I just use a regular sized one, but any kind will work. Take two scoops of your fave protein and dump it in. I have been LOVING this protein recently. Plant based, not grainy, and I legit crave it.

After the protein, you want to go ahead and add about a 1/4 cup of almond milk. Any type of milk would work, I just happen to love my milked almonds.

Following the almond milk you want to go ahead and add in two eggs.

Then comes 1 mashed banana.

Stirrrrr it all up.

If you would like fluffy waffles that look super cute add in some baking powder! I just sprinkled some along the top, but I am guessing that it is about 1 teaspoon.

Once you have your smooth mixture you are going to want to grease down whatever pan you choose to use. For waffles I am going to be using my waffle maker, but this recipe also makes great pancakes! I just use my non stick cooking spray.

These protein waffles are so yummy

Put them in and cook them till they are complete! My waffle maker has its own timer, so if you happen to be making pancakes with this recipe I would pour it in the pan, wait till bubbles start popping up, flip, and then ta da! Yummy pancakes. haha thank you guys so much for reading!

I hope you are all having a very merry holiday season.

Love,

Kate
