Hello everyone. We are officially halfway through the week. I absolutely love posting on Wednesdays now, because it always gives me something to look forward too. Tonight I am coming down with a cold, so I am trying to get all my work done early so I can go to bed. Recently, I have been trying to be super intentional with every aspect of my day, and it has been making the biggest difference. I cannot wait to share it with all of you, because it is truly life changing. I mean obviously not every day can be “the best day ever,” but with this system my days have been coming pretty close! 🙂
Be Intentional With Everything
I know this sounds kind of weird, but it is true. Right now I am the busiest that I have ever been. Seriously, I don’t wanna try to sound like I am out hustling anyone, because that’s not what life is about, but it’s true. Between going full time at work, full time school, social life, and adding another assistant/marketing job. My days are jam pact, but that is how I like it.
Since I have a million things going on, as I am sure all of you guys do it is crucial to prioritize. Write out all your priorities on a piece of paper. For example mine are:
- My Job
- My Other Job (Moz Nutraceuticals)
- My mental health/Mindset
Once I created this priority list, I then looked at my day and saw what I was actually spending my time doing. Like scrolling on my phone for hours, when my priorities tell me I should be spending quality time with family. Sound familiar? Another example is I started working over my lunch break. Instead of going home and wasting an hour, I started sitting in my car and working on my other jobs. My lunch break is not a priority for me, so why was I wasting an hour on it?
If you want things in life, like time to work out, more time with family, financial freedom, etc. Start looking at how you spend your time and make it happen. You have 24 hours in the day. Start spending them wisely.
The Intentional Exercise
Every morning as I drive to work I go through my intentions. This may sound confusing, so I will kind of go through my dialogue I have with myself.
#1 Intention- God
“Thank you god for this amazing day and everything you have given me. Please help me to live like you as I go throughout my day today.” I then continue to go on saying what I am grateful for, and different things like that.
#2 Intention- Levi/Family/Friends
“Thank you so much god for giving me Levi & my amazing family/friends. I am forever grateful for them” I go on saying specific things that I am grateful for, and envisioning what I want my relationships to look like.
#3 Intention- My Job
“Thank you god so much for giving me my job. As I go throughout today please keep the kids safe and healthy. Please give me patience”, and more things like that.
#4 Intention- My Other Job
“Thank you so much god for giving me my blog, moz nutraceuticals, and Arbonne. Without arbonne I would have never developed my marketing skills. I know that Moz Nutraceuticals is one of the best companies in the country. Business is booming.” I try to speak it as if it has already happened.
#5 Intention- My Mental Health/Mindset
“Please as I go throughout my day help me to stay positive, and to think like you.”
Practicing these exercises has seriously made the most amazing differences. I could truly not do everything I do without them. This is the secret sauce to having amazing days. Find out what makes you happy, and do that.
