How To Stay Motivated

Motivation I have found is one of those things that comes in waves. I do not know anyone that is motivated all the time, and if you are that person I am incredibly jealous. Throughout this year, I have been incredibly dedicated to bettering myself and creating a business.

I don’t know if you guys know or not especially, if this is the first post you are seeing of mine, but I am very into network marketing. I actually have my own business with Arbonne that I love more than anything!!! But that is not what this post is about today lol.

So as I mentioned before motivation is one of those things that comes in waves. I have experienced not having motivation more times than I can count, and I think I have finally found a couple foolproof ways to somewhat always have a little bit of motivation.

Ways I Stay Motivated

Podcasts

I don’t know if you guys have jumped on the podcast train or not, but I highly suggest doing so. I carve out at least 20 minutes everyday to either listen to a podcast or do some type of self development. This has completely changed the game for me and helps me get re-inspired every morning when I wake up. I love just listening to them through the podcast app on my phone, or youtube has great ones as well!

Working out/ Clearing your head

Physical activity is good for your mind and your body. It allows for your mind to be cleared and for you to be able to focus better. For me I love working out and getting my sweat on, but if you just like to go on 10 min walks that totally works too!

Disconnecting from your phone

This is a MAJOR one for me. Both of my businesses are ran from my laptop and phone, and one of the hardest things that I have found is it is hard to disconnect work and free time. I work a lot on instagram, so whenever I scroll on instagram before bed it is easy to get sucked into work again! Even if you don’t work from your phone put it down and just live in the moment. It is so sad, but I really don’t think many people live in the moment much, and I am one of those people!

I have finally realized that I am not truly living in the moment unless I am off my phone, and I am so glad I have finally realized that. So even it is just for an hour or two a day, get OFF YOUR PHONE! Go outside, eat lunch without distractions, spend time with loved ones, just enjoy living in the moment!!

Spending time with loved ones

I touched on this a bit in the last paragraph, but disconnecting from your day to day life and spending time with loved ones can make a world of a difference. This is one of my favorite things to do. I used to take it for granted, but now I treasure every moment I get to spend with them. It is even better if you plan a little day trip with them, or just doing activities with them.

Relaxing

Make sure to take time for yourself and relax. Rather that be binge watch Netflix, meditate for a few mins, jam out to music, whatever helps you relax, do that.

Staying true to yourself

No matter what your goals are always remember to stay true to yourself. Align you and your thoughts with things you want. That is a very big thing I have learned this year. If something is not serving you anymore or making you happy, recognize that and have the guts to step away from it.
