Happy Wednesday! It is a short week and I am feeling great. I have a Miranda Lambert concert coming up this weekend, and tons more exciting stuff! I’ve been getting into the routine of work, school, and just doing the daily do. Since I have been having some of the most productive days that I have had in my entire life, I thought I would share with you how I start them. It sets me up to have an amazing day, and who am I to not share that with you guys. I am all about helping everyone create their best lives. We have to remember that this life was given to us and and is being done for us. Life can be hard, but ultimately it is what you make it. With that intro, let’s get into my 4:30 A.M. morning routine.
This is when my alarm rings. Used to, I would hate this sound, but I have just trained myself to embrace it. It also helps being well rested, for me that is 7 hours. As bad of a habit this is, I immediately check all my socials for like ten minutes. It is one of the only ways I can keep my eyes open at this point haha.
This is the time where my feet first hit the floor. From here, I proceed to use the bathroom, drink my water, let Rosco out to pee, and get the coffee brewing.
By 4:50 I am back in bed with my hot black coffee, and am enjoying a few youtube videos. I love having this peaceful time in the mornings.
My feet hit the ground for the second time, and this time I start finding workout clothes. Typically, I go with a tank top and my gymshark leggings. I go to a 5:30 am crossfit class. It is the absolute best way to start my day, and has honestly changed my life. As cheesy as that sounds, but for real without crossfit I would be one big ball of anxiety & stress.
I finish getting ready, and I am at the door. The crossfit gym is about 30 secs away from my house, so I don’t worry about leaving too early.
My body is usually walking through the front door at this time. I immediately drink some water and hop in the shower. Depending on the day I will have to be at work anywhere from 7:30-8. I used to be a night showerer, but after I workout in the mornings showering is a necessity.
I am just going to play this morning out like it is a normal 8’o clock day. So about this time I would be getting dressed and eating breakfast. Everyday, I typically stick with my yoga pants, t-shirt, and cardigan. We don’t have a dress code at work, and chasing toddlers around calls for something a little comfier.
By now I am out the door heading to work! I like to be there about ten minutes early. As I drive over to work I like to pray & set my intentions for the day. I recite everything I am grateful for, and just get into a good mindset. This really benefits my day and gets it started on the right foot. Seriously, start trying to do it. It only takes like 5 minutes and the affects of it last all day. 🙂
