Thrift Store Clothing Haul

Second hand shops are trending now more than ever. I don’t know about you guys, but personally I love shopping at consignment stores. They typically have good quality clothing for super low prices! I am not much of a shopping person, but every once in a while I will go to Goodwill or a nearby consignment store! I have a love/hate relationship with Goodwill. The stores near me seem to be very picked over, but I guess that is a good thing (maybe).

Not gonna lie, whenever I was younger I got embarrassed to say that I would get clothes from Goodwill sometimes. But seriously there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Personally, I think it is even better than ordering clothes from a cheap site that probably makes clothes unethically. But that is just my opinion. 🙂

I couldn’t find the links to some of these clothes, so sorry about that! I just wanted to share some of the things I have found over the past couple months!!

My Haul

I am actually wearing it in this photo!

This shirt came from goodwill and is super cute! It is a simple shirt that has quarter length sleeves, which is perfect for fall and spring weather!

The cardigan is also from a second-hand store as well! I absolutely love cardigans! They are so easy to throw on top of outfits.

Corrie and I 🙂

This dress came from Goodwill! I actually wore it to my homecoming dance as you can see from the picture above lol. It was definitely a squeeze fitting into it, I think it is an xs when I typically wear small-medium. Yikes! But nothing a little butt glue couldn’t help with. Putting on some of that helped to hold it down allllll night.

I absolutely love this shirt! There is just something about the look of stripes that I am a huge fan on. This shirt came from a local consignment shop! It is quarter length and has cute little buttons on the sleeves! 🙂

This is an embarrassing photo but here is the shirt!

These shorts definitely still need some work! But I actually got them from Goodwill as jeans. I wanted to turn them into a pair of those super trendy Levi shorts. My Grandma will probably help me out with them a bit lol. I know how to hem clothes a little bit, but not that much! Overall, I think this is my favorite purchase that I have ever made from a second hand store!

I always like to read posts like this and I wanted to show you guys that you really can find good quality clothes from second hand shops! I know that society is more open to them now than ever, but if you are still one edge about shopping at one I totally recommend it! Thanks for reading, I hope you guys are having a lovely day.

Kate 🙂
